Mr. Awal Sakib Mohammed

Mr. Awal Sakib Mohammed is the President of the Ghana Electrical Contractors Association (GECA), a position he has held since at least 2022. Under his leadership, GECA has actively promoted professionalism, safety, and local capacity development within Ghana's electrical industry. He has been instrumental in advocating for policies like the Local Content and Local Participation Regulation (L.I. 2354) to bolster local contractor participation and has emphasized the importance of training and certification for electrical practitioners
